Our two-day course is designed to up-skill fitness and performance professionals in technique, programming, and coaching for powerlifting. You will be guided through each of the lifts (squat, bench press, and deadlift) and have a systematic process for performing and/or coaching others to perform them. Limited to 12 participants only per session.
The ELEIKO Powerlifting Level 1 course is designed to help you develop a comprehensive overall understanding of Powerlifting from its history and benefits to proper technique and coaching for the 3 lifts. This course also provides a thorough understanding of human movement science, assessing a client for their readiness to lift, as well as a complete programming process including warm-up and cooldown/recovery.
The Eleiko Coaching System provides a simple and effective process utilizing stance, grip, position and action to instruct proper lifting technique. Utilizing this system will give you the tools you need to progress a novice or advanced lifter through proper progressions of the major lifts.
The Eleiko Performance System creates the framework for you to systematically spot, adjust and correct movement compensations. Utilizing this system will give you the ability to manipulate positions and actions of the major lifts to meet the ability of the client/athlete.
The Eleiko Programming System teaches you to manipulate the acute variables of a programme to achieve the desired outcome. Utilizing this system will help you track and manage client/athlete stress through effective program creation and adjustment.
